Huntington Library and Gardens Free Day Tickets

The Huntington Library and Gardens is a jewel of the San Gabriel Valley. Located in San Marino, visitors from far and wide visit The Huntington’s lush and extensive gardens, library, and art collection. The adult ticket prices are $15 Monday – Friday and $20 on the weekends. Children ages 5-11 are $6 any day of the week. If you have a family of four and want to visit on a Saturday, the cost can be a bit prohibitive. Don’t worry, with some persistence you can visit The Huntington for free.

Every month Huntington Library and Gardens has a free day and you can take advantage of it. Here’s how:

  • Every person attending a free day needs a ticket. No exceptions.
  • All free day tickets must be reserved either through their ticketing agency at 800-838-3006 or online. You may only reserve free day tickets over the phone or online, not at the box office
  • You may select from two arrival times, either morning (10:30 a.m. -12:00 p.m.) or afternoon (1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.).
  • A limited quantity of free day tickets will be available the first day of each month preceding the month you wish to visit. For example, if you wish to visit on November Free Day, you may call for tickets beginning October 1 at 9:00 a.m.).
  • You may not purchase regular admission tickets on free day.

Huntington Library and Gardens free day tickets generally sell out within minutes, so you have to be quick! If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again for the following month. Visit their website for additional information.
